Clifton Community Council – Self-Employed Handyperson / Lengthsman

Clifton Community Council is seeking a self-employed “handyperson” to carry out minor maintenance, light repairs, and environmental upkeep in the parish on a flexible, casual basis. Work is expected to be a few hours each week, fully flexible, as instructed by the Clerk.

Tasks may include: maintenance of bus shelters and seating, grass verge cutting, vegetation management, repairs to Council assets, sign cleaning, dog waste bag dispenser refilling, weeding, and small painting jobs.

Applicants must:

• Be self-employed with their own equipment and PPE
• Hold public liability insurance (£5 million minimum)
• Have relevant experience in maintenance and working safely in public spaces
