Annual Return

The Annual Return forms a Statement of Accounts as the statutory summary of Clifton Community Council's financial affairs for the financial year and is prepared in accordance with the Governance & Accountability for Smaller Authorities in England for the period.

The purpose of the Annual Statement of Accounts is to give clear information on the income and expenditure of Clifton Community council and to demonstrate the council's responsable stewardship of public money through the period of the statment.

Clifton Community Council is required in accordance with the Accounts & Audits Regulations to complete an Annual Return setting out Accounting Statements and an Annual Governance Statement for each Financial year. This process is now in progress. This webpage will be updated with documents as they are approved. Please note that these are in DRAFT format unless otherwise stated.
