Annual Return

The Annual Return forms a Statement of Accounts as the statutory summary of Clifton Community Council's financial affairs for the financial year and is prepared in accordance with the Governance & Accountability for Smaller Authorities in England for the period.

The purpose of the Annual Statement of Accounts is to give clear information on the income and expenditure of Clifton Community council and to demonstrate the council's responsable stewardship of public money through the period of the statment.

Please note the below documents are now completed and the certificate of exemption has been filed with Moore. The below documents will not be audited any further on account of the fact that Clifton Community Council has self certified its status as an exempt authority, unless a request for an opportunity to question the auditor about the accounting records under Section 26 (2) or an objection under Section 27 (1) of the Act, results in the involvement of the local auditor
